(I’m not sure if this is a cabbage or another kind of plant. We saw these plants outside the gate of Kyung Hee University during our first day here in Seoul while we were out walking. I found it amusing to see such kind of plant.

(The reflection of the setting sun on the hallway of the dormitory. We’re very blessed here in our dorm because the sunset’s very beautiful. It’s just so sad that sometimes we get so busy that we don’t take time to appreciate it.)

(These books are found in the Church where we attended mass earlier. The writings were in Korean that’s why I don’t know what kind of books these are.)

(And this is one of the stained glass windows.)

(This is the passport used by government employees on official travel abroad. To get one, you have to bring a colored passport size picture, letter from the head of the agency to DFA, authority to travel, service record and certificate of no pending case.)

(It’s fun to take pictures of kids who get excited having their pictures taken.)

(Jesus died on the cross and on the third day he rose again. This happened so that he can conquer death for all time.)

(My nephew loves chocolates and ice cream. These are the two things that he can’t wait for the next bite or spoonful. The reason why he’s so dirty is that he wants his ice cream fed to him fast.)

(This was the one used for ironing before wherein charcoal was placed inside to make it hot. I can remember seeing this when I was still a child but I was not able to use it (Thank God!). It seems that life was hard before when there was no electric iron and televisions had no remote controls.)

(This is a destroyed passageway inside the Malinta Tunnel. Malinta Tunnel is one of the places that reminds us of our country’s dark and ghastly experience during the Second World War. We cannot help but pity the Filipino and American soldiers and civilians who took refuge here during the start of the war and also of the Japanese soldiers when the war was ending.)

(This was my second to the last sight of South Korea, the Incheon International Airport. It was a bittersweet moment as I looked at the building wrapped in the glow of yellow light. I felt sad because I was leaving Korea where I spent ten fun and wonderful days but also happy because I was finally going home and be with my loved ones.)
(And this was my last view, the twinkling lights of houses and buildings in the midst of the covering darkness.)
