There is something about me and eye products. We are not compatible. When I wear eye makeup, I end up rubbing it off so it does not last very long. Before, I used to like putting on eye liner but my eyes get irritated easily. Let’s not talk about mascara and how I end up looking like a raccoon after a few hours because of my habit of rubbing my eyes. For some time now I have noticed the darkening circles under my eyes. I have tried putting on eye creams to lighten the circles. Unfortunately, I cannot stay the course it takes for the creams to take effect because as usual my I unconsciously rub my eyes and then irritation sets in again. I guess I should try again and maybe this time be very conscious of my hand movements.
When one thinks about diet supplements all one can think about is the word diet and getting thin. However, I realized earlier that this is a very narrow definition. I was on my way to the office and I was asking an officemate how her mother’s health was coming along. Her mother recently suffered a severe stroke that kept her in the hospital for more than a month and required a brain surgery. My officemate said that she was recovering nicely and was eating already but she still had the feeding tube inserted to her stomach where her liquid food supplement passes through. Her stroke affected her throat making it difficult for her to swallow before, thus requiring the feeding tube. One can say that the liquid food, some kind of special milk, is another kind of diet supplement, which has a more important function than just making a person slim. This supplement fed her mother the proper nutrition she needed to recover her health.
Nowadays, creativity is the name of the ballgame. Every company is looking to make innovative products or creative ways to sell their products. A few years back, insurance companies have started selling one-year insurance. It covers death and accidents, I’m not so sure about disability insurance though. These kinds of insurance are usually sold at Christmas as alternative gifts. They cost very little but the pay-off can be quite big if, God forbid, you get into an accident during the covered year. I guess this must also rake in some decent profits for the insurance companies because they still sell them every year.

My friends and I find our ipods very useful. If you are only interested in music and that it must come in a very small and handy package, then the ipod shuffle is the best choice for you. Alternatively, if you want something with a bigger storage space and where you can watch your favourite downloaded shows aside from listening to music, then invest in an ipod classic and watch shows and movies anywhere. Ipod touch, on the other hand is for those people who want to stay connected to the internet while they are on the go. Of course, this can only be possible if you live in a place where almost everywhere you go you can access the wi-fi, like in Seoul. Whatever your preference is, you can almost always find the right ipod for you.
This is the year where many of my friends are pregnant, about to give birth or have given birth already. Their baby announcements vary. The usual ones are through text messages to family, friends and officemates. Sometimes, friends of mothers who just gave birth put the announcements on Gtalk, Facebook, YM or other shout-out boxes. One friend wrote an account of her giving birth experience on her online journal and emailed her friends the link. It is easy now to communicate major events in your life like the birth of a child so friends and family can always be in the know about what is happening in your life.
Nowadays, everybody is going on line. You want to check-out what movies are playing check online. That goes for concerts, band gigs and special events that are happening around you. With just one click, you know where to go. Even the churches are going on line. For mass schedules, church locations and gospel readings for the day, just search the web and you’ll find it. Businesses find it worth their while to invest in a website or have an on line store. This is true for big business like airlines and insurance companies. For individual insurance agents, insurance advertising on line will also be helpful because many people are going on line now to search for the best deals in insurance. Your possible market increases by leaps and bounds because of the internet. It is the same with other businesses.
