During the Christmas season, we usually look forward to gifts from family, friends and colleagues and we are also kept busy buying gifts. This is also the time for corporations, institutions, offices, etc. to give gifts to clients and partner institutions. Gifts vary from just tokens like calendars, umbrellas, notepads, and planners, among others. Some big corporations even give baskets filled with grocery items. I was surprised by the give-away of the company my brother works for. I saw a sample of their corporate give away for the doctors, it included an anti wrinkle cream, facial wash, feminine wash and other beauty products. I guess they realized that the doctors do not need a basket with grocery items because others would give them those items. Maybe they really need anti-wrinkle creams because their jobs are so stressful. That’s just my guess.
