Memory gap and being chismosa

Last Monday I was riding a jeepney from the Heart Center to Philcoa. There was this very dirty and poor looking man sitting in front me. He was making it hard for the new passengers to sit beside him because he exerted very little effort to accommodate them. I was so busy looking at the tableau in front of me and also of castigating myself for forgetting to go back to the doctor to tell him when I will go back, that I forgot to pay my fare. I was already at Philco and the jeepney was already stopping to let out a passenger when I hurriedly rummaged through my coin purse to pay. Of course you can’t find the exact amount when you need it. I paid the driver a P20 bill so I had to wait for my change while he was readying the jeepney to leave the jeepney stop. I was so embarrassed at having inconvenienced the other passengers that I was apologizing profusely. I could not get off the jeepney fast enough. Hehe
