Toys have really evolved since I was a kid. I remember my brothers and I were already very happy with our Family Computer and the Super Mario Brothers, Donkey Kong and my ultimate favorite, Circus Charlie games. Now, we’re talking about xbox 360, part of the seventh generation of video game consoles. If the Family Computer was third generation and Xbox 360 is seventh, then in the span of less than 25 years, there are already four generations of video game consoles. How fast a development is that? Whereas before you had to buy cartridges for your Famicom in order to play new games and you can only compete with one player, with the Xbox Live service of Xbox 360, multiple players can compete online. Aside from that, contents such as arcade games, game demos, trailers and even TV shows and movies are downloadable, all part of the service. Now the question is, what is next for the video games industry?
