A lot of showbiz stars have had their noses fixed. Before it was such a big issue and the stars would try to hide it, like you could hide something so obvious. The only term I knew about a nose job was nose lift, I guess it’s because Filipinos usually have flat noses, so they needed lifting up to make them look sharper. There was an episode of Doogie Howser, MD before where Doogie had this new fellow woman doctor with a rather long and strong nose that detracted from her looks. One day, Doogie stumbled upon some pictures that showed the woman doctor with a much smaller nose. It turned out she was contemplating having her nose done.

Looking back, I can see now that it is not only Filipinos and their fellow Asians with flat noses who want to undergo rhinoplasty, but Caucasians also who want lessen the impact of their strong noses.
